Extensive Management Capability

Up to 100 recorders, 64 encoders and 256 directly connected cameras can be registered. Up to 6,400 cameras registered in the recorders and 256 cameras registered in the encoders are automatically registered in the WV-ASM100.

H.264, MPEG-4, JPEG from the i-Pro series and WJ-HD616/716 (H.264 only) are supported.

User Friendly GUI with Multi-Monitor Operation

User friendly GUI with illustrated camera, alarm and recorder icons allows intuitive operations including display mode, camera control, recorder control and status monitoring. Multi-Monitor option enables simultaneous use of operation display (1 / 4 / 9 / 16 split), Live display (1 / 4 / 9 / 16 split) and Map display each on a dedicated monitor. Single or two monitor operation is also available. Up to 20 cameras (16+4 or 4+16) can be displayed with the operation monitor and the live monitor at a time.*1

High Frame Rate

Up to 20x 30 ips/camera images can be displayed in H.264 1.5 Mbps mode (VGA: Normal quality mode). Up to 20x 30 ips/camera images can be displayed in MPEG-4 2 Mbps mode (VGA: Normal quality mode).

Operation Display

Map Display

Up to 64 camera icons and 20 map link incons can freely be positioned on a map. Up to 100 maps can be selected by the pull down menu or by the map icons. When a camera generated an alarm, the map with colored camera icon in which the alarm camera is located is displayed on front. *1

Camera Group Display

Up to 400 camera groups: Up to 16 cameras can be assigned in a multiscreen (1/4/9/16) as a group and called up on the operation display or the live display by manual or sequence operation. Recorder or encoder can also be assigned in a group in that cameras are automatically assigned from camera 1 in order.

Camera Control

Panasonic camera control: Pan/Tilt, Zoom, Focus, Brightness, Preset position call and program (up to 256), Auto mode, AUX 1 ~ 3, Click Centering, Wheel Zoom (depending on the camera model).

Recorder Control

Recorder control such as playback, search, record download can be made by using the operation display. 7 speeds (up to 96x ) are available for forward/reverse playback. To playback the recorded images, display live image of the desired cameras. Click HDD tab to display the recorder operation panel, then click PLAY.

Operation with WV-CU950

A camera, a group or a sequence can be called up on the operation display by their ID with the optional system controller WV-CU950.*1 The camera displayed in the active window can be controlled by the system controller. Playback operation can also be made by the system controller with Jog/Shuttle.

Dynamic Resolution Adjustment: JPEG

Image resolution can automatically be adjusted depending on the screen mode (VGA: 1/4 screen, QVGA: 9/16 split screen), enabling optimum network usage. Fix mode is also available. (JPEG, Camera direct mode)

Dynamic Stream Switching: H.264/MPEG-4

Two video streams from a camera can automatically be selected depending on the screen mode (1/4 screen: Stream1, 9/16 screen: Stream2), enabling megapixel resolution for Spot/Quad display. Fix mode is also available. (H.264/MPEG-4, Camera direct mode)

Flexible Alarm Handling

Versatile alarm actions: A pop-up alarm message on the operation display, The map with colored camera icon in which the alarm camera is located is displayed on front, Up to 16 split live images on the live display and buzzer. Live or playback images can be viewed by clicking the icon in the alarm message.

REC Event Search

Desired record can be searched by various criteria such as Camera number, Time & Date, Event Type including i-VMD and Text on/off.
Cameras can be selected from the recorders, camera groups or the maps Record in the multiple recorders can be searched simultaneously.

Playback VMD Search

Recorder’s Playback VMD Search function can be operated from the operation display. 4 areas, 3 sensitivities, camera number start/end time, and mask duration can be specified.

User Management

Sophisticated user management: User authentication with time limited password, 5 user levels, User-Camera View/Control partitioning in conjunction with recorder’s user management function, Up to 32 user registrations

Video Analytic

Detection frames and motion trails of the moving subjects can be displayed when used with the WJ-NT314.*1

Bi-directional Audio

Audio from a camera can be heard and the operator voice can be transmitted to the camera’s audio output through the network (single channel at a time).

Multi-site System

WV-ASM100 enables large scale multi-site surveillance system with management efficiency and user-friendly operation.
